Lyrics
[Intro]
Lock it up, lock it up
(Drunk tank pink)
[Verse 1]
Brought him in at midnight with his knuckles raw
Shouting at the sergeant, kicking at the door
Said that pink is girly, said he's made of steel
Twenty minutes later and he's learning how to kneel
Called me every insult that he'd ever learned
Now he's staring at the ceiling and the tables turned
[Pre-Chorus]
Pink on the ceiling, pink on the tiles
Pink on the bars where the big man smiles
Breathing's getting slower and his fists unclench
Softest little sigh from the toughest on the bench
[Chorus]
Fifteen minutes in drunk tank pink
(Drunk tank pink)
All it takes is one little wink
Big bad boys come crashing through the gate
(Through the gate)
Leave here asking for a second date
[Verse 2]
Seventy-nine in a Seattle navy jail
Baker and Miller with a pink paint pail
Rowdy little sailors throwing punches at the wall
Fifteen minutes later, didn't punch at all
One of them was swearing that he'd never wear the pink
Now it's in his bio, written down in ink
Real man's not afraid of it, he's standing in his boots
Pink never scared anyone with solid roots
[Pre-Chorus]
Pink on the ceiling, pink on the tiles
Pink on the bars where the big man smiles
Breathing's getting slower and his fists unclench
Softest little sigh from the toughest on the bench
[Chorus]
Fifteen minutes in drunk tank pink
(Drunk tank pink)
All it takes is one little wink
Big bad boys come crashing through the gate
(Through the gate)
Leave here asking for a second date
[Synth Solo]
[Bridge]
Morning came, the sergeant opened up the door
Big man didn't move, said "can I stay some more?"
Pulled a pink blanket up around his chin
Said "lock it up again, I'm staying in"
[Final Chorus]
Paint the whole precinct, paint the whole town
Every loud man laying his armour down
(Paint it pink)
Every door is open, every cell is free
Nobody is leaving, they're all here with me
(Here with me)
[Outro]
Lock it up, lock it up
(Drunk tank pink)
Nobody leaves
[Spoken] "Created by DarkPrincess -- Royalty of the night"
