Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Woke up to a sky that finally cleared
Boots by the door and the map I feared
Packed up my doubts in a paper sack
Threw them in the truck bed won't look back
[Pre-Chorus]
Something in the morning feels alive
Something in my chest says I can drive
[Chorus]
It's a new day
Gonna find a new way
It's a new day
I'm gonna find a new way
[Post-Chorus]
Hey hey hey
Find a new way
Hey hey hey
[Verse 2]
Called my brother said I'm hitting the road
He laughed and told me that the tank was low
Dirt on the windshield sun on my hands
Ain't got a plan but I got open land
[Pre-Chorus]
Something in the wind is calling loud
Something in my step is standing proud
[Chorus]
It's a new day
Gonna find a new way
It's a new day
I'm gonna find a new way
[Post-Chorus]
Hey hey hey
Find a new way
Hey hey hey
[Bridge]
Maybe the road bends maybe it breaks
Maybe I lose count of all my mistakes
I'll take the long way I'll take the fall
I'll take the sunrise over it all
[Chorus]
It's a new day
Gonna find a new way
It's a new day
I'm gonna find a new way
[Post-Chorus]
Hey hey hey
Find a new way
Hey hey hey
Find a new way
