Lyrics
[Verse 1]
In a castle cold and high
The candles burn so slow
A prince once walked these halls
Before the grave did grow
He watched the sunset fade
He heard the wolves begin
A hunger woke inside him
A thirst beneath the skin
[Pre-Chorus]
Blood is red
Blood is warm
Night will come
Night will swarm
[Chorus]
He is the first
The first to rise
He is the curse
Behind your eyes
He is the first
The first to fall
The lord of night
Above you all
[Post-Chorus]
(Dracula)
(Dracula)
[Verse 2]
The cross he cannot bear
The mirror shows him not
He counts the years in silence
He counts the souls he got
Three brides beside his throne
Three shadows in the stone
The moon obeys his whisper
The dark becomes his own
[Pre-Chorus]
Blood is red
Blood is warm
Night will come
Night will swarm
[Chorus]
He is the first
The first to rise
He is the curse
Behind your eyes
He is the first
The first to fall
The lord of night
Above you all
[Post-Chorus]
(Dracula)
(Dracula)
[Bridge]
Old as stone
Cold as grave
None can flee
None can save
He calls your name
You turn your head
You wake up in
A bed of dread
[Chorus]
He is the first
The first to rise
He is the curse
Behind your eyes
He is the first
The first to fall
The lord of night
Above you all
[Post-Chorus]
(Dracula)
(Dracula)
