Lyrics
[Verse 1] Feet on the pavement
Rising up like a forest tall
Small seeds in a crack
Breaking through that gray stone wall
The builders rejected
Every brick and every stone
Now they see us building
Something greater than a throne
[Pre-Chorus] They say you have no name
They say you have no ground
But I see the lions walking
I hear the holy sound
[Chorus] We are the ones carrying the love
Yes we are the ones (Carrying the love)
Forward through the garden
The world is waking up
Higher than the clouds (Carrying the love)
Sweeter than the wine
Look around and see it
Your light begin to shine
[Verse 2] No more fighting
Let the system fade away
Watch the concrete crumble
Beneath the sunshine of the day
Babylon is heavy
But the love is feeling light
Green hills in the distance
Are calling through the night
[Pre-Chorus] No need for their gold
No need for their fear
I can see the mountain
Heaven is sitting right here
[Chorus] We are the ones carrying the love
Yes we are the ones (Carrying the love)
Forward through the garden
The world is waking up
Higher than the clouds (Carrying the love)
Sweeter than the wine
Look around and see it
Your light begin to shine
[Bridge] Sweet green relief
Cool water on the soul
The mother is provides
And she makes the broken whole
Lift your voice up (Sing it loud)
Hand in hand now (Take a bow)
Love is the master
Only love is the master
[Chorus] We are the ones carrying the love
Yes we are the ones (Carrying the love)
Forward through the garden
The world is waking up
Higher than the clouds (Carrying the love)
Sweeter than the wine
Look around and see it
Your light begin to shine
[Chorus] We are the ones carrying the love
Yes we are the ones (Carrying the love)
Forward through the garden
The world is waking up
Higher than the clouds (Carrying the love)
Sweeter than the wine
Look around and see it
Your light begin to shine
