The Tale of Carp and His Curious Diagnosis
Come gather close, good folk, and hear, Of little Carp, whom all held dear. A clever lad from Phandalin town, With muddy boots and tousled brown.
One day he ran to every soul, "I've found a tunnel! Come make it whole!" Yet every elder shook their head, "Too many stories," they all said.
The village healer stroked his beard: "Young Carp, your mind is rather weird. You chase strange caves and hidden doors— Perhaps you've rolled too many fours."
A wizard frowned behind his book: "Let's have a proper, magical look." He cast Detect Thoughts with greatest care, And found... a perfectly normal heir.
A dwarf declared, "The boy's not sick! He's just got Adventurer's Tick. When danger calls, he cannot rest— He simply has to start a quest!"
The bard laughed loud and raised his cup: "No cure can patch this youngster up. For every hero starts this way— Ignoring sense to save the day."
So if your child comes home one night, With goblin maps and eyes alight, Don't fear a curse or strange disease...
He's simply caught Quest Fever— The most contagious illness in every D&D
