The M2K Ballad

Verse 1

Well I lost my fourth skin down in Melee

Traded it for a wobble and a broken dream

Now I'm sittin' on the couch with my controller fried

Wonderin' if a real man ever comes back to life

Pre-Chorus

But I've got a GameCube and a flick of the wrist

And a whole lotta heart left in this twangy abyss

Chorus

One day my skin's gonna grow back whole

I'll be a real man with a smash control

Four skins full and my head held high

Beasting up when they see me fly

Verse 2

They said your problem's permanent boy slow it down

But I've been grindin' shine and wearin' that crown

With a wavedash and a prayer I'm gonna make that climb

And grow back my fourth skin one more time

Pre-Chorus

Yeah I've got that GameCube and a fire in me

And a banjo pluckin' wild as a geyser in spring

Chorus

One day my skin's gonna grow back whole

I'll be a real man with a smash control

Four skins full and my head held high

Beasting up when they see me fly

Bridge

Mew2King they'll scribble on a poster town

The king who grew his four skin back down

Fixed his man problem with a fox shine

Now ain't that a tall tale worth keepin' alive

Chorus

One day my skin's gonna grow back whole

I'll be a real man with a smash control

Four skins full and my head held high

Beasting up when they see me fly
