Lyrics
[Chorus]
Let there be light on the dark days
Let there be form in the void space
Let there be firmament dividing the waters
Let there be more than they taught us
[Post-Chorus]
And it was good
And it was good
And it was good
[Verse 1]
Evening and morning one day
Before the sun knew its own name
Waters gathered under the sky
Dry land rose I don't know why
Grass yielded seed in the ground
Every living thing that crawls around
Made in image dusty and proud
Image of God breathing out loud
[Chorus]
Let there be light on the dark days
Let there be form in the void space
Let there be firmament dividing the waters
Let there be more than they taught us
[Post-Chorus]
And it was good
And it was good
And it was good
[Verse 2]
Day four the lights in the firmament
Greater light ruling the day spent
Lesser light and the stars also
Seasons and years just let em go
Every winged fowl after its kind
Every sea creature leaving no mind
Be fruitful multiply and fill
Every ocean every hill
[Bridge]
Six days six nights
Then the seventh rest
Six days six nights
This is the genesis test
[Chorus]
Let there be light on the dark days
Let there be form in the void space
Let there be firmament dividing the waters
Let there be more than they taught us
[Post-Chorus]
And it was good
And it was good
And it was good
