Lyrics
[Verse 1] Red cap tilted
Crooked grin on his face
Pixel smoke rolls as the level begins
Castle gates crack
Stomping feet
Mushroom roads bow to the tyrant beat
[Pre-Chorus] The pipes are roaring
The pipes are shaking
The pipes are breaking
[Chorus] Bad plumber rules the screen tonight
Shadows swallow every light
Drums march through the burning land
Coins rain down from his iron hand
Power-ups fall
Power-ups fail
One dark jump and the world obeys
[Post-Chorus] Oh oh oh
Bit by bit
Oh oh oh
[Verse 2] Goombas salute
Cracked stone floor tiles
Toadstools whisper there is no high score
Warp zones collapse
Jagged code
Star power glows with a poisoned spark
[Pre-Chorus] The castle choir
The castle screams
The castle glitches
[Chorus] Bad plumber rules the screen tonight
Shadows swallow every light
Drums march through the burning land
Coins rain down from his iron hand
Power-ups fall
Power-ups fail
One dark jump and the world obeys
[Post-Chorus] Oh oh oh
Bit by bit
Oh oh oh
[Bridge] Scoreboard burns
Crown stays on
No extra life can pull him down
