Rainy Friday

The rain sounds so good right now

Going down my window

I'm sitting in bed

Watching it as it falls down

The glass is so fogged up

By all the cold in the air

So I use my longsleeve to chase the fog away

is everyone at?

It's quiet in the world tonight

Especially quiet in my room tonight

No notifications, no conversations

Am I the only one who didn't get any invitations?

Am I the only one who's less busy?

Or is my phone just disconnected and the system's

On this rainy cloudy day

On this rainy Friday

On this rainy Friday

The rain feels so good right now

As it touches my skin with the window down

I shiver for a moment

But then I get used to the feeling

The clouds light up the dark sky

As I watch the shadows pass me by

Where is everyone at?

It's quiet in the world tonight

Especially quiet in my room tonight

No notifications, no conversations

I the only one who didn't get any invitations?

Am I the only one who's less busy?

Or is my phone just disconnected and the system's clipped it?

On this rainy, cloudy day

On this rainy Friday

On this rainy Friday

Tonight's so peaceful

But the quiet's really loud

The silence is screaming out

The boredom is becoming too much

Locked in this room offline

Waiting for the connection and the spark to come back online

Where is everyone at?

It's quiet in the world tonight

Especially quiet in my room tonight

No notifications, no conversations

Am I the only one who didn't get any invitations?

Am I the only one who's less busy?

Or is my phone just disconnected

And the system's glutted

On this rainy, cloudy day

On this rainy Friday

On this rainy Friday

Just the sound of the rain against the window

A heartbeat pulse slows down

The digitized voice fades into the background

On this rainy Friday

On this rainy Friday

On this rainy Friday

On this rainy
