Lyrics
Verse 1] In the morning I stretch my legs Bacon strips along with eggs Open the curtains and what do I see Looking forward to the future day ahead of me Moisture in the air is relief for my sun plants I listen to my neighbor's rants Have one sugar cube with my coffee or tea Maybe go to listen to the shells by the sea [Chorus] Every day feels Like the weekend The outside air is cool and clear Listen to me, my good friend Yes it feels like the weekend [Verse 2] Moisture in the air is relief for my sun plants I listen to my neighbors' rants Have one sugar cube with my coffee or tea Maybe go to listen to the shells by the sea [Chorus] Every day feels Like the weekend The outside air is cool and clear Listen to me, my good friend Yes, it feels like the weekend [Bridge] I ride on my exercise bike Maybe later I'll decide to go on a hike It's getting close to lunch This quick delightful meal during this time crunch [Chorus] Every day feels Like the weekend The outside air is cool and clear Listen to me, my good friend Yes, it feels like the weekend [Outro] Should I take a nap? It feels like the weekend Play a video game? Sure, it feels like the weekend Watch a feature length movie film? It feels like the weekend Tell them I'm not here because it feels like the weekend Maybe it is the weekend [Chorus] Every day feels Like the weekend The outside air is cool and clear Listen to me, my good friend Yes, it feels like the weekend [Outro] Should I take a nap? It feels like the weekend Play a video game? Sure, it feels like the weekend Watch a feature length movie film? It feels like the weekend Tell them I'm not here because it feels like the weekend Maybe it is the weekend
